High water pressure sealing

ADCOS customized its resins and injection techniques in order to seal a water leakage of 6500l/min in a hydro-electric power plant in India.
Standard polyurethane injection resins were altered in order to obtain reaction times from medium to very fast. Secondly a customized injection technique was identified, creating a drill hole pattern designed to perform the grouting work. The different injection resins were allocated to different injection holes in order to obtain water diversion, consolidation of rock mass and the filling and sealing of concrete voids and cracks.
2- component & 1- component high pressure grouting pumps were used for successful execution of works. At the same time a suitable mechanical packer with a length up to 3.5 m was used.
