Grouting work in Hydro Electric Project

ADCOS created highly customized Urea Silicates and 2-component PU injection resins for the Tapovan Vishnugad Power Plant in India.

The diversion tunnel was completely washed away along with the under-construction cofferdam. Advancing in the tunnel with TBM (Tunnel Boring Machine)  was very challenging due to squeezing rock, overburden, gushing water and Class VI rocks (Augen Gneiss).

Thanks to specific designed materials, the deployment of new technologies and modern grouting equipment, ADCOS created a success story by advancing TBM and crossed almost 75% of the marked shear zone in the alignment.
