Water sealing of a dilatation joint

ADCOS used its acrylic injection technology (ACRYLINJECT ELASTIC B) to water seal a dilatation joint, thus limiting water ingress in the underground passage beneath. The water sealing of moving joints is not straightforward and the 4^th component ACRYLINJECT ELASTIC POLYMER is necessary to get an acrylic gel with high mechanical properties. The work was divided into 5 stages. In total 150 meters of dilatation joint were treated.

For this project, ADCOS’ partner in Poland has used its in-house developed online tool to calculate the resin consumption.
